(Nude) Interactive installation (2)

The second prototype shows four moisture sensors below the thinner paving slab. Video currently under construction. It will be up and ready soon :)

(Nude) Interactive installation (1)

Interactive installation.

The installation is triggered by a difference in weather condition. There are a series of moisture sensors which are wired to leds encased into the paving slabs. When the sensors detect rain the leds below start to flash.

Here is prototype one, showing how the leds look inside a concrete paving slab.

Odd video about Japan.

I don't have a clue what he's saying, some parts are easy to guess but the visuals are fantastic! :)

I need to get me one of these.

As any seasoned aqua-combatant will already know, there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking it seriously - it's all in the name of fun. With that in mind, here's the latest in rapid-fire water pistol technology, the AK-47 Aqua Fire.

The top model of 'Rapid fire water gun' in the shape of the trusty AK-47.

Where to buy? The hunt is on.

They look incredible!

(Nude) MTV ad...

Just recently been creating a short MTV advert with the theme of MTV being 'The heart of entertainment TV'.

All stop motion with hand drawn illustrations placed over the top. It's going pretty well so far although taking ages... :)

He's gone and released a movie. Excited or not?

Defiantly excited for this. 'The worlds first street art disaster movie' sounds epic. But... all sold out. Gutted.

(Nude) RSA - iMed

Also I forgot to upload this.

This is my creation for our RSA (Royal Society of Arts) brief.

iMed is an iPhone application used to remind its owner to take a prescribed medication at the correct time. The applications starts when the user receives their medication. The medication bottle will bear a QR code, they then take an image of this QR code which in turn inputs all the information iMed needs.

iMed will install all information like, amount of medication to take, time to be taken, information about their prescriptions, contact details for doctors and more.

As most iPhone applications, it has a few extra playful parts. If the user receives a months prescription of 30 pills, iMed will install this information and when the application is loaded, a 'Shake me' screen will appear. Here the user can shake their iPhone and depending on how many tablets they have left, will depend on what sound is released. At the beginning, the sound released will be the rattle of a full pill bottle and as the prescription moves on, the sound released will be of a pill bottle rattle becoming empty.

I used a lightbox and a series of pill bottles to create the background imagery. Along with illustrator for the page information and buttons. :)

Hitting the sack, ciao x

Is pretty tierd...

Today I've been possessed with my first self initiated brief. To create a short piece of motion graphics, it will be an digital advert for a chosen company. Mtv, apple, blackberry etc.

My first idea is that I'm currently looking for a new tattoo so why not adapt this into the project. With an animated tattoo. Its sounding cool and we will see how it comes on! :)

Will keep this updated...

Peace. x

P.s

Pancake day today, It was gooooooood. :)

Mental.

So its been a pretty crazy week. Dissertation all done and handed in with a very messy after party! Along with a few more projects and now weekend work until 4am :(

BUT....

I found this and I love it. :)

Leo Rosa Borges – Blank Canvas

Graphic designer Leo Rosa Borges, an award-winning artist working out of Dubai, generated this unique solution to an issue often encountered by the creative classes. The blank canvas. These posters — created on a close to zero budget — are generated by cutting an ‘image’ into a blank white surface, demonstrating the ability to generate design with minimal addition or subtraction to a medium. All Borges’ designs requires are a few carefully placed cuts, that with a stretching of the canvas, come to life in the third dimension as a monstrous face.

Tasty. :)

Tropicalia! :)

Some very nice pop ups created by Angharad Lewis.

'Pretty caged birds, pop-up plant leaves, pink paper and elegant type – all these elements combine to make a deliciously sweet show of design skills in this invite for a fashion client by Daniel Baer. With colourways inspired by SS10 (get ready to succumb to some pastel action in your wardrobe this year) and a tropical hothouse theme, we can feel our over-sized specs steaming up already.'

Sweeeeeeet :)

Pressure cooker instructions...

These illustrations were scanned from the small book "Cucinare Bene...In Meta Tempo", the book itself explains how to use the pressure cooker and has a lot of recipes. About 200 pages. Every once and a while there would be one of these illustrations. I think that you could write a book about revenge being taken on humans for eating too many other animals using these illustrations.

Current smells of garlic...

Its a question of perception.

What?
1.Recognition and interpretation of sensory stimuli based chiefly on memory.
2.The neurological processes by which such recognition and interpretation are effected.

Iv recently been looking into different peoples perception. How one persons taste, sight or smell can be superior to an others.

Why?
To flavour wafer paper and experiment what my friends per-sieve them to be! Flavours include...

Garlic, ginger, roast chicken, cinnamon and curry! It will be interesting. Is piece have been perforated for easy ripping.

Perception...
